Job Description
The role will be responsible for originating, negotiating and selling complex deals into a portfolio of existing accounts as well as opening up new accounts in the assigned territory in the BFSI vertical.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- In this role the Sales Executive/BDM will lead sales engagements, selling solutions to address complex requirements. The primary scope of services offered will be around BFSI. This also includes lead generation and identification of new opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Identify market potential by qualifying accounts and generate leads (“hunting”) and identify new opportunities with new clients, and strategic partners.
- Close sales by building rapport with potential account stakeholders, including CXO level relationships; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
- Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products, solutions and services.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets established by the Sales Head and execute business development, offering positioning and sales strategies.
- Achieve lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline. Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
Skill and Experience Requirements:
- Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of success in IT Solutions selling.
- At least 12 years of experience in selling IT services within the region, preferably working in a leading IT service firm.
- Strong local contact base and access to alumni, local associations, industry associations within the region.
- Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled.
- Demonstrated ability to manage often complex negotiations with C-level business and technology executives.
