Job Description:
As the Business Development Director for Infrastructure and Security Services, you will be responsible for driving business growth and building strategic relationships with clients in the UK and international markets. Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base and ensuring revenue targets are met. You will lead a high-performing sales team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the sales strategy for Infrastructure and Security Services, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging with potential clients, including C-level executives, CISO, IT Directors, and Security Heads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, understanding their business challenges and positioning our services as solutions.
Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, delivery, and marketing, to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions for clients.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline, and forecasts, providing regular reports to senior management.
Drive the expansion of the company’s presence in the European markets, working closely with global sales teams.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility and generate leads.
Maintain a thorough understanding of our Infrastructure and Security Services portfolio, effectively articulating its value proposition to clients.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role within the IT services industry, specifically focused on Infrastructure and Security Services.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
In-depth knowledge of the global IT services market, Onsite – offshore model, also emerging trends and competitive landscape.
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire sales teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and develop innovative sales strategies.
Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, B Tech, BE, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
